Trevaunance Cove

The old harbour in Trevaunance Cove - now in ruins - connected the mines of St Agnes to the rest of the world. The remains of the harbour breakwater can be seen at low tide on the western side of the beach. A steep climb along the road to the west of the beach is the open-work tin mine at Wheal Luna, with its atmospheric cave-like openings.
